That's the way love goes was released as the lead single from Janet Jackson's fifth Studio album entitled janet. It was a great album and That's the way love goes was a great way to kick it off. It was nice and slow, a mid-tempo and then she got into the cream of the crop; which in my opinion was the single entitled If. If was a great single and remains to be to this day.
