Firework was released as the third single to Teenage Dream. I, however, had downloaded that
song preceding its release as I had a pretty good idea that it was going to be
released; so I had pretty much listened to it by that time and was somewhat
tired of it. But when I received the
re-release of Teenage Dream entitled Teenage Dream: The Complete Confection,
just this past month, that album gave new life and meaning to Firework.
