Skyline
That movie was pretty good. I am not sure if I should have bought it but when I saw the trailer for it last year, I could not resist. Having watched it I feel differently about it, but that’s because it wasn’t nearly as good as I was expecting. The acting was definitely lack luster and the plot left something to be desired. The only thing that kept me glued to the set was the fact that it had some pretty good visual effects, even though they seemed a little bit unbelievable. But the visual effects were brought to you by the masterminds behind Avatar, Iron Man 2, and 300 so it was kind of neat, but if I were to compare it to those films, or just Avatar and 300 as I have not seen Iron Man 2, I would have to say that this film was nothing in comparison to those, and I am quite an expert on those films considering I have seen each of them at least a handful of times. I prefer those films to this, and although there will be a sequel according to Wikipedia, I am not sure if I would go so far as to purchase it.
