KERI HILSON

Keri Hilson could be on her way to becoming the next Rihanna. She is well establised at the get go with hits under her belt featuring Kanye West, Ne-Yo and Timbaland. Or should I say Timberland featuring Keri Hilson. Either way it works because he has done outstanding for her and vice versa. Her most recent hit is sitting pretty at number 4 on the Billboard hot 100 for the week of August 15th, 2009 and is well on her way for another hit. Knock You Down is an amazing upbeat inspirational track and it is featured on her long awaited debut release, In a Perfect World. I am wondering if she will choose to release it from a forth coming album or if she will choose to release another hit from her debut release In a Perfect World. Either way she is sure to deliver. After all she has credentials ranging from collaborations with Chris Brown to song writing for Britney Spears and Ludacris.

Energy is another great upbeat song. Although it hasn't done as well as Knock You Down. But none the less a great buy and wasn't realized until I found it on the cd. I had no idea Energy was on it when I bought it. But now that I have it it works out perfectly because it gives me another reason to listen to the album as the rest of it is kind of lack luster but that is usual when you are making your first record. Madonna's first record was somewhat lack luster as well. And with today's rampant download of singles only, well it really is a single that sells the album and vice versa.
