Rain was released as the fifth single from Erotica if you count Fever, which I often don’t. Fever was more like a club track as opposed to an official single. However Rain was most definitely an official single complete with being one of Madonna’s most powerful ballads ever, if not the most powerful. The only other ballad that rivals Rain in my opinion is I’ll remember.
